  4.     Washington lacks the will to effectively protest human rights
  5. abuse in China (WORLD, March 13). The squashing of dissident Fang
  6. Lizhi and the killing of Tibetans are merely the latest examples
  7. of inhumanity typical of the Chinese Communist Party. George Bush
  8. has raised only the wimpiest voice in objection. It will be up to
  9. us to protest. China desperately needs foreign currency, a major
  10. source of which is tourist dollars. Americans should renounce
  11. travel to China until it stops brutalizing its own people.
